The Dolcevita at RunAway Bay Marina is...
A restaurant with an excellent Italian chef who also offers French and Asian cuisine. Dolcevita at RunAway Bay Marina is run by Paolo and his life partner Manon who is French-Canadian. Manon is also known as Flipper. Dolcevita is serving dinner every evening except on Wednesdays.

Manon - or Flipper, because she's such a good diver - and Paolo right behind their bar. Notice the wide choice of wines they offer.
Here's one of Paolo's creation... a pan-fried local red snapper or...
a lobster tail in fillo pastry...
or...
... a filet with black sesame seed.
Hmm, isn't this mouth-watering?
Paolo will also prepare menus of your choice if agreed with him in advance.
He is very caring. Look what he says on the menu shown below: *Please advise us if you have any food allergies.*
We like this little restaurant for its cozy atmosphere and tasteful decoration. And the food is just fantastic. No wonder with such a chef...

How to find Dolcevita at RunAway Bay Marina

If you don't know the area, ask for the Palmetto crossroads. The map above shows you the way to Dolcevita from there. There is an alternative and better road to Dolcevita branching off at the main highway about a mile south of the Palmetto crossroads. Below are directions to that dirt road leading straight to the marina and the restaurant.
Coming from the South: On the long and straight main road, about one mile before Palmetto, watch out for a very tall, thin radio tower to the left. Just before it you'll see the restaurant sign to the left. Coming from the North: About one mile after the Palmetto Point crossroads on the highway, watch out for a very high, thin radio tower to your right. Right after it you'll see the above Dolcevita at RunAway Bay Marina sign. Turn right and go for about 1/2 mile to the restaurant. Enjoy your evening in the friendly atmosphere of Dolcevita at RunAway Bay Marina and Paolo's excellent cuisine. And please remember what it says on the menu card... *Smart casual dress is suggested for dinner*.
