Good news for Central Eleuthera! The "Charming Resort" Cocodimama which was closed for over a year, will be re-opened in December of 2008. The Coco is one of only three hotels that are situated directly on an Eleutheran beach. Cocodimama is 1 mile south of Governor's Harbour airport on beautiful Alabaster Bay, also known as Receiver's beach.

Mr. Eddie Lauth, main actor in the creation of "French Leave Resort" - formerly Club Med - in Governors Harbour, Eleuthera, announced in mid-March 2008, that his commitment to the project remains unchanged despite a tough global business environment.
