Our Hut Pointe Beach Wedding in Eleuthera, Bahamas

by Andre & Suzanne
(Hitchin, United Kingdom)

Newlyweds On Pink-Sand Beach & Conch Shell

Newlyweds On Pink-Sand Beach & Conch Shell

Our ceremony was held on the pink sands of Hut Pointe Beach on Eleuthera Island in the Bahamas, on the 21st January 2010.

As Destination Wedding Photographers, we decided that we wanted an intimate & romantic ceremony that expressed both our love for each other and our passion for photography. We took all of our own photographs of the special day using wireless transmitters.

The ceremony was conducted by Joshua Culmer, Marriage Officer for the Island and we were the 201st wedding he had officiated.

Our witnesses were Tia (our wedding planner) and Scott, who had constructed the beautiful beach arch. Pink & white lilies and white roses were supplied by Cindy, a local florist from Governors Harbour.

The Wedding was a double celebration, as it was also Suzanne's 40th Birthday! Dressed in a stunning ivory designer dress that floated in the sea breeze and contrasted beautifully against the turquoise ocean and pink sands, Suzanne looked simply divine!

After the ceremony, we had a romantic dinner at "Cove Eleuthera", where the chef had baked a traditional NY Cheesecake (the groom's favourite dessert) for the newlywed's official wedding cake, accompanied with Champagne.

We then remained on the beautiful island of Eleuthera to celebrate our honeymoon.

We would just like to thank you, Dieter, for your invaluable Web site www.Discover-Eleuthera-Bahamas.com and all the people of Eleuthera that made our stay so wonderful.
